Sandown Christmas Fun Day Cancelled

Unfortunately we have only just discovered the Christmas Eve Fun day in Sandown was cancelled due to an objection, by whom we are not certain? 

The organisers Sandown Carnival state on their website: DUE TO circumstances outside our control, this event has been CANCELLED.

Big Christmas Charity Sing

“Big Christmas Sing” in aid of Christian Aid, to help fight poverty is taking place today from 10 a.m at St Catherine’s Church, in Ventnor.
 
Michele Brock will be playing Christmas music on the piano from 10.00 am until 5.00pm, hopefully relieved at times by various friends.  Come along and choose some carols/songs to sing, or bring something with you to sing.  Refreshments, fair trade goods and a warm welcome available!

Wight Church Christmas Tree Display

A display of decorated Christmas Trees will be on view at St Peter’s Church, Main Road, Havenstreet: 
On Wednesday 23rd 10.30 am to 4.30 pm, Thursday 24th 10.30 am to 3.00 pm and after Christmas on Monday 28th Tuesday 29th  and Wednesday 30th December 10.30 am – 4.30 pm.

Light Refreshments will be available, admission is free but please make a donations to Church Funds.
