Wight Santa Charity Dash For Cash

Anyone up for a Wight Santa Fun Run Dash to raise some charity cash?  Isle of Wight Age Concern are organising a Santa Dash and are looking for willing helpers to don a Santa suit on 12th December 2009.

The event will coincide with the Newport Carnival and is open to adults and accompanied children over the age of eight, of any ability. Children are encouraged to wear fancy dress to be topped off with a Santa hat provided by Age Concern Isle of Wight, while adults get a full Santa suit to keep.

Jo Dare, Chief Officer said:

“This is our first Santa Dash, and we hope it will become a welcome addition to the festive calendar. We would love families, work colleagues and friends to join in the run, and help us to support more older people on the Island”.
