Pensioners Hardship With Christmas Payments

Older people on the Isle of Wight may struggle to get their weekly pension at Christmas  because of a payment decision by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). 

Many people still collect their pensions from their local post office and usually have from Monday to Wednesday to collect their money, this year , they will only have until 12.30pm on Christmas Eve (Monday 24th December) to collect their pension . Read more »
